Distractions Hide Serious Problems

My caution I keep repeating to my few readers is that 2022 is the Year of the Tiger. Tigers are magnificent, but they are not domestic lap cats. Why are 4 major rivers around the globe going dry? (News media ignore this story because it requires investigation to report.) Mississippi River is a waterway that cannot ship necessary tonnage from harvests this year.

I do not know if this will be solved with a little more snow and rain over the winter. Memphis normally has constant tugboat traffic moving 6 massive barges lashed together with a monster tugboat that has a cantilevered cabin to raise the pilot up 100 feet above deck level to foresee river traffic ahead. Now only a single barge can be moved across the parched Mississippi River.

If the rivers and wells run dry, people with torches might want to know how our government missed this obvious huge problem. There is no cure for dry wells and mud trickles where rivers flowed. Once again, churches will be full of people praying for help to save us all. Why not go to church this week? It couldn’t hurt more than lazy lying politicians. Yes, a donation basket will get passed around during the service. You might be surprised to see folks you know in a pew near you?
