“Trust me” Why?

April 6, 2012

Success follows hard work and achieved accomplishments.  Some “confidence men” aka con men, want you to accept their tall tales and impossible promises.  Their measurement of success is not from the work they did.  Their measurement of success is from deception and stealing the fruits of other hard-working honest people.  Our country lawyer Abraham Lincoln appreciated the common sense and wisdom of our citizens.  “You can fool some of the people all of the time.  You can fool all of the people some of the time.  You can’t fool all of the people all of the time.”

Lyndon Baines Johnson was a street smart politician, but he had principles that never broke something like the constitution to get what he wanted.  I loved his Texas drawl and when LBJ addressed the war-weary nation, we all felt the suffering that was shown in his care worn face.  Anyone that loves hound dogs needs to be a good-hearted character.  My treeing walker coon hound  loves me as only a dog can melt your heart and she makes me want to shoot her.  How can you mistreat someone you love?  I can’t.  I also can’t take her to Washington D.C. right now.  She howls and bays to wake the dead if she smells a skunk in a hundred yards.  There are too many skunks in our nation’s capitol right now

We got a Senate that HAS NOT PASSED A BUDGET FOR OUR COUNTRY IN 3 YEARS!  I don’t care to hear about fairy tales and excuses.  LBJ never ever let the country flounder like this.  We have our President suggest to our SUPREME COURT HIS OPINION ON A CASE UNDER REVIEW!  Do we expect the Supreme Court to be entitled to tell the President their opinion on how he is running our country?  Why is our country being told whoppers and promised more than we got money to pay?  It’s time to stop trying to fool all of the people all of the time.

I trust the people of our country to know when they smell a skunk wearing fancy cologne and wearing the clothes of rich people.  I DO NOT TRUST the commercial media that does not bother to investigate and inform the citizens on the real problems in Washington D.C.

The last State of the Union campaign speech embarrassed the heritage and hard work of prior presidents.  We heard more promises, threats, and sky is falling threats on so little that has been accomplished.  Pass a budget, don’t worry about passing thousands of new bills we can’t afford.  I will enjoy this speech much more since it was the last State of the Union from the current free loader in our White House.  Does everyone really trust this man to run our lives and ruin our financial security as a nation?

Excellent, you said the truth (again).

It seems so obvious, but sometimes you wonder if the “con man” is fooling everyone.
