Hurricane Irene has governors safeguard citizens

August 27, 2011
New Jersey governor Christie looks out for citizens

All areas under threat of Hurricane Irene are watching the imminent deluge from the Atlantic Ocean.  Governor Christies and others make it clear on priorities during this hurricane onslaught.

We hope citizens don’t tie up 9-11 telephone lines complaining that McDonald’s didn’t have chicken nuggets for dinner.  Most hobo folk hope the freight trains keep running to beat out of the area.  We know AMTRAK cut out train service, and public transportation will be reduced or stopped.
For sure, everyone learned from the Louisianna governor’s action during Katrina, that it’s everyone for themself.  Don’t count on anyone to be looking out for you.  If you sit outside wailing and moaning, then you are waiting to become a victim like the Katrina fatalities.
